Visit Spaghetti Warehouse on Dec. 5th & Celebrate “National Comfort Food Day”

Contrary to popular belief, did you know that “comfort food” is something we use as a reward and that it makes us happy (rather than depressed…)?

You can look it up.

A survey by Cornell University revealed that these types of dishes DO help in boosting our mood. In fact, according to the same survey, when we go in search of comfort food, we’re already happy.

And, what better place to experience fresh made Italian comfort food than Spaghetti Warehouse?

On December 5th, we invite you, your family and friends to join us in celebrating National Comfort Food Day.

The term “comfort food”—also described as food that is sentimental to us – was first used in a story a little more than 50 years ago, in 1966, in The Palm Beach Post. It wasn’t long after that, in 1972, Spaghetti Warehouse first began serving you, our guests, with food that’s made fresh daily in a unique atmosphere.

We serve a variety of delicious pasta dishes, including our all-time guest favorites—“Incredible” 15-Layer Lasagne and our “World Famous” Spaghetti and Meatballs. And, speaking of meatballs, we hand roll more than 10,000 fresh each day at our restaurants across the country.

Of course, our comfort food is just as great tasting as part of a banquet or catering order. Or, you can just get it “to go”. And, celebrating special occasions—including “National Comfort Food Day”—is what we’ve been known for at Spaghetti Warehouse for more than 40 years.

Visit our website for all of the items on our Celebration Menu, including our locations and special offers.

This holiday season, we invite you, your family and friends to visit us and we’ll serve up our own brand of comfort food for you to enjoy.

And, if your plans include going to the movies, you’ll want to know a group of research subjects—while watching a “happy” movie—ate 38 percent less hot, buttery popcorn…leaving more room for a little more Lasagne or dessert when you’re here at Spaghetti Warehouse!
